Q. What payment types are accepted?
A. We accept Mastercard and Visa online and also eftpos, cheque, cash and finance at all stores.

Q. Do we have a lay-by system?
A. Yes, we offer lay-by. Our terms and conditions include a 4 week system to be finalised within the 4 weeks from date of purchase, minimum 20% deposit. Regular weekly repayments must be made. If the lay-by is cancelled due to it being overdue or a customer fails to pay, management reserves the right to retain 10% of the full purchase price. Strictly no refunds for change of mind or cancellation.

Q. Can I pay off my layby through online banking?
A. Yes, we accept direct deposit payments. Our account name is The Furniture Shack, account number: 571650656, BSB number: 084577.

Q. What is our refund policy?
A. Please choose carefully as we do not normally give refunds if you change your mind or make a wrong selection. You can choose between a refund, exchange or credit where goods are faulty, wrongly described, different from a sample shown to you or don't do what they are supposed to.

Q. What are our finance terms and conditions?
A. We have a no deposit, 12 months interest free finance option available. All you will need is some photo ID and within 20 minutes you could be taking your new furniture home. There is a $70 application fee and a $4.95 monthly account keeping fee which will be added onto your finance total. You can come in to one of our stores to apply or alternatively call us to complete an application over the phone.

Q. Are our products fumigated?
A. Yes, our products are professionally fumigated twice before entering Australian shores and therefore are not susceptible to any pest's that can affect your furniture.

A. Yes, if you cannot find the dining package you are after online, please call your local store for a quote.

Q. Where is our furniture made?
A. Our indoor timber and eco alfresco range are imported from Indonesia and our outdoor inspirations, dining tables and leather chairs are imported from China.

A. No, all of our timber products are one piece with the exception of our timber dining tables.

Q. Can I buy the seat cushions only?
A. We are able to special order most base cushions we currently stock. All special orders are a 12-14 week wait. Please call your local store or email us for a quote.

A. Yes, you certainly can. Simply call your local store or email us for a quote.

Q. How do I clean my outdoor cushions?
A. Brush off loose dust and dirt regularly when dry. To clean, simply sponge with a mild solution of natural soap in luke-warm water. Do not bleach or dry clean. Remove red wine immediately by soaking up with household bicarbonate soda and vacuuming off once dry. Do not use solvent type cleaners.

Q. How is your mahogany timber sourced?
A. All timbers used in the production of our furniture are plantation or recycled ensuring a sustainable supply.

Q. How do I care for my mahogany furniture?
A. Give your piece/s a full wax every 3 months. In dryer months (or dryer conditions such as air-conditioning, a fireplace or central heating), apply a spray beeswax fortnightly. Dry timber can look dull, but by applying wax it will bring up the beautiful grains of your piece and will help minimise movement in your furniture.

Q. How do I care for my natural eco alfresco rattan?
A. Our woven collection can easily be cleaned through the application of water and mild soap on a soft rag. It is important that if your fibre furniture does become wet to dry it out immediately as prolonged exposure to water will damage the product.

Q. How do I care for synthetic rattan?
A. Our synthetic rattan collection should be cleaned using a vinyl protectant. This will enhance the finish of your item and protect it against the harsh elements.

Q. How do I care for leather dining chairs?
A. Regular cleaning and treatment of the leather is paramount to minimise build up caused by dust, grime and body oils. A leather care kit will remove any grime and condition the leather.

Q. Can I order a glass top with an order for my timber dining table?
A. Yes, we can have a glass top made to order for your dining table or coffee table purchased at TFS. This generally takes 7-10 working days.

Q. What are your delivery fees?
A. We offer a range of delivery services, with a Silver drop off local service starting at $66.

- Silver Brisbane Metro (1 suite or less) $66
- Gold Brisbane Metro (More than 1 suite - includes full assembly) $99

Q. How soon can I get my furniture delivered once ordered?
A. Most of our stock is readily available and can be dispatched within 48 hours.

Q. What does delivery include?
A. You can choose between a silver delivery service which includes drop off only or a gold delivery service which includes full installation, assembly and rubbish removal. You will also receive a courtesy call on the day to let you know we are on our way.

Q. How are interstate deliveries booked and charged?
A. We ship interstate weekly. Our minimum charge is $200 with cubic metre increases depending on your address. Choose this delivery method and a Furniture Shack representative will email you within 24 hrs (48hrs on weekends) to confirm the delivery charge and finalise the total. NOTE - Your credit card will not be charged a cent if you are not happy with the transport quote. The stock will be allocated to you, but nothing will be charged until we have your approval of the transport charge.

Q. How does the Regional QLD Flyer Promo Work
A. For this month only we are subsidising all orders placed online by customers in regional QLD. The $99 Cap is available to customers who live within 15km of a major regional centre. Orders must be placed online and must be in excess of $2000.

Warranty

Q. What warranty do you offer?
A. All products are covered by a 12 month warranty. Our Outdoor Inspirations range is also covered by a 5 year warranty which applies to all aluminium frames against manufacturing faults and defects only. The warranty is applicable from the date of purchase and all warranty claims must be lodged at the store of purchase, supported with a dated receipt as proof of purchase. The warranty excludes strapping, glass and any damage to powder coating caused by salt, chemicals or through lack of general maintenance. Any damage to frames, cushions or slings that is caused by accident or misuse of the product are not covered under warranty.
